Amanda Robinson

Senior Research and Evaluation Project Manager

Amanda Robinson (she/her) is a Senior Research and Evaluation Project Manager at the Institute for Community Health. She is involved with planning, organizing, and directing projects at ICH on topics such as racial equity in the healthcare system and patient-centered healthcare services that better meet the needs of patients from diverse backgrounds and those in vulnerable populations. She is an experienced qualitative researcher and has conducted focus groups and interviews with individuals about their experiences with opioid-use disorder, Medicare and Medicaid, and child behavioral health programs, among other topics. Prior to coming to ICH, she did similar work in Minnesota, doing culturally tailored program evaluation with Hmong and Native American communities in the Midwest.

Amanda earned her BA in Anthropology and Asian Studies from Cornell University and her PhD in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh. She explored issues of community and social support, and mental health, during her doctoral research in Tokyo, Japan.
