Evaluation of MOIA’s Weaving Well-being Initiative

Client: City of Boston Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA)

The Leah Zallman Center for Immigrant Health Research (LZC) at the Institute for Community Health evaluated the second round of the City of Boston Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement’s (MOIA) Weaving Well-being initiative. Weaving Well-being aims to support immigrant-serving community-based organizations in caring for their staff and providing non-clinical mental health services to their communities. The Weaving Well-being initiative follows a successful pilot in 2022, of which LZC was the evaluator. In Weaving Well-being 2.0, LZC worked with MOIA and the 18 community-based organizations to implement a participant survey that measured the impact and outcomes of the different organizations’ initiatives.
